Time Out #94 - Home Sweet Home Challenge

Hello everyone!  I love the Home Sweet Home challenge over at Time Out this week.  The photo is so pretty and so fall-ish!

Look at this pretty vase.  Love those orange pumpkins.

We are sponsored by Stamplorations this week, and I've used this cute pumpkin image from the Thankful for Autumn stamp set.  I felt like making a tag for this challenge.  I die cut the tag then stamped and masked the pumpkin.  Then I used a Tim Holtz stencil and inked it up with some Distress ink.  I colored the pumpkin image with copic markers, stamped the sentiment, and added Nuvo Drops, ribbon and twine bow.  There's also some Spectrum Noir shimmer on the pumpkin.

You can see more from the design team and our guest for this challenge, Janet, on the Time Out blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow so many techniques here and amazing colouring. I am noticing you are rocking using a mixture of techniques recently, wish I could be so versatile!

Fantastic tag, and I love the fall colors. Brilliant job of shading that pumpkin--it looks so realistic.

Love this tag and your take on the inspiration. That background stencil reminds me of burlap and looks fantastic as a backdrop for that wonderful pumpkin. Love the different autumn shades of Nuvo drops.

The size of the pumpkin image is perfect for a tag and I love all the artsy ideas you had with this one! Great work!

What a cool tag, I love the pumpkin image, it’s sketch and fun, and adding shimmer just adds more! I’m also inspired by your background. Recently I’ve been doing a lot of embossing paste and I need to go back to some distress blending again!! Jenny x
