Time Out #87 - CASE with Your Own Twist

Hi friends!  The challenge this time around at Time Out is our CASE challenge.  This is the card we are CASE-ing by Cornelia.

And this is my take on the CASE.  I immediately thought of these Bird Crazy birds from Time Holtz.  I colored it with copics and die cut the bird, wing, and eyes/nose using the coordinating dies.  The wing is on dimensionals, but the eyes are just glued on (too small for dimensionals).  I did add glossy accents to the eyes.  The background was impressed with an impression plate on ivory cardstock, then I used an ink duster brush and antique linen ink to bring out the circle design.  I added a die cut tree branch for the bird to sit on and skinny sentiments on thin strips of cardstock to mimic the CASE card.  Sequins, of course, finish it off.

You can see more from the Time Out design team and our guest for this challenge, Pooja, on the Time Out blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

Love your Bird Crazy Bird and the branch on which he is perched. Love that embossed background on the yellow and the way you did the sentiment. Fabulous CASE of Cornelia's card.
