Time Out Challenge #55 -Theme Challenge

Hi friends!  The challenge over at the Time Out blog this time around is a theme challenge.  The theme is CELEBRATIONS.  You can also twist this challenge by die cutting or fussy cutting.

I didn't twist this time around.  The celebration I made this card for was a bridal shower.  The wedding is in May in Virginia, and the shower is next week in Virginia as well.  We are going to the wedding, but I'm not attending the shower.  I love this stamp from Whipper Snapper.  I think it's just so beautiful.  I stamped the image in Versafine onyx black and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I tried my hand at watercoloring with Peerless watercolors.  So cool!  I really like the control I had with them.  The sequins on the dress are covering up some ink that transferred from the stamp!  This is a larger card too:  6" x 4.25".  I chose this size because I got ahold of some envelopes this size lined with gold paper.  Sort of special for the occasion.

Our guest for this challenge is Elizabeth Stewart.  You can see her card and our DT cards on the Time Out blog.

This challenge is sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays.  They are giving a $25 gift voucher randomly to someone who twists with this challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!
