Just Us Girls #246 - Color Challenge

Happy Summer everyone!  Today is the first day of summer, and it's been a long time coming!  Maria has a summery Just Us Girls color challenge this week...yellow and orange!

I came home to a Papertrey Ink box this evening and broke out two of the new sets on this card.  I first created the background.  I colored modeling paste with orange and yellow inks then spread them over a stencil.  I set that aside to dry and worked on the banner.  I stamped the string in orange ink and added the flower brad over the "knot".  The sentiment was stamped in black ink.  The banner was added with dimensional tape.  I mounted it on orange and yellow cardstock.

I'm playing the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge this week with this sketch.

You can see more from the JUGs design team and our guest this week on these blogs.

This card is so trendy and I love it! Love all of the dots, cool stencil and that sentiment banner is fantastic the way you used the stamped strings and the way you stamped the sentiment.
